Activities for families, exhibitions, markets, nautical events and summer festivals punctuate the seasons and make the port of Saint-Denis-d’Oléron an essential meeting place for yachtsmen, locals and visitors alike.

Our activities

Activities and entertainment all year round at the port

The port offers open-air activities accessible to all, set up on the esplanade and along the quayside. Children can enjoy the merry-go-round and trampoline, while wooden games are regularly available for family fun. The minigolf course, located right next to the port, completes the range of leisure activities on offer.

TheAPPSD (Association des plaisanciers et amis du port de Saint-Denis-d’Oléron) also organizes seasonal events for port users: sea outings, cultural visits and convivial moments between yachtsmen.

Showroom

The “Lifeboat” showroom, located on the harbor, hosts exhibitions from Easter to All Saints’ Day. This space, dedicated to artistic and cultural creation, offers a variety of exhibits throughout the season, providing walkers and yachtsmen with a cultural break in front of the boats.

Temporary events and water sports

The port comes alive with the seasons, with a rich program of nautical events:

Designer’s market: every Saturday in season, from 4 pm to 10 pm, the marina esplanade welcomes local craftsmen and designers, facing the boats. In July and August, the market also takes place on Friday evenings, from 4 pm to 11 pm, as a nocturnal version.
Summer festivities: fireworks on July 14, harbor illuminations and concerts on the quayside liven up summer evenings.
Nautical events: regattas organized by the Yacht Club d’Oléron (YCO) and traditional sailboat gatherings during the summer.
Fishing competitions: organized byAPA (Amicale des pêcheurs d’Antioche), on the harbor esplanade.
