Waste reception and processing plan
In accordance with European regulations, the port of Saint-Denis-d’Oléron has a waste reception and treatment plan. This document describes the organization in place for the collection, sorting and elimination of waste produced by ships and port users: household waste, hazardous waste (hydrocarbons, batteries, anodes, etc.), grey water and black water.
This plan is in line with the environmental commitments of the port, which has been awarded the Pavillon Bleu label since 2007, and with the Territoire Zéro Déchet initiative of the Communauté de communes de l’île d’Oléron.
