Saint-Denis-d’Oléron Port Councils
The Port Council is the advisory body for the Saint-Denis-d’Oléron marina. It meets regularly to examine issues relating to the operation, management and development of the port of Saint-Denis-d’Oléron. Made up of representatives of the municipality, users, professionals and associations linked to the port, the Port Council plays an essential role in port life, formulating opinions and recommendations on the port’s projects and strategic orientations.

Port Council members
The Port of Saint-Denis-d’Oléron’s Port Council brings together representatives of all stakeholders in port life. Its composition, defined by current regulations, guarantees a balanced representation of the various stakeholders:
- Representatives of the commune of Saint-Denis-d’Oléron, the port’s concession-granting authority
- Representatives of recreational boaters, year-round and seasonal residents
- Representatives of professionals working in the port (shipyards, shops, restaurants)
- Representatives of port-related associations, notablyAPPSD (Association des plaisanciers et amis du port de Saint-Denis-d’Oléron) andAPA (Amicale des pêcheurs d’Antioche).
- Qualified personalities and representatives of government departments
The Port Council is chaired by the Mayor of Saint-Denis-d’Oléron or his representative. A list of current members can be consulted below.
